I'm a jolly and happy fella who have devoted his time in becoming an Technical Artist. I've always found joy in either creating tools or solving complicated problems so it felt like a natural transition in becoming one after having spent many years doing all sorts of practical work in the industry.

Highlights of my favorite recent projects
A configurator that allows the user to interact with clothings from the 19th century in Sweden.
My responsibility was the programming.
This team project was made towards "Västernorrlands Museum" where they needed a specific application for customers to interact with.
A configurator for making simple designs of metal racks and what it may contain.
Inspiration from the years in the industry project planning, designing, communicating and constructing these metal racks

If the project were to ever have a continuation there are many things I'd love to dive head first into to make the application even more flexible for additional content.
The main thing would be to make the code more adaptable for multiple user inputs with easy to add modifiers with little difficulty. Today it relies on very direct inputs within the code for the user to use as well as the computer inputs doesn't align well with all touch functions on varying platforms making the code miss communicate with itself in that area.
The second thing would be to make the application more self dependent by allowing the user to save data so that the museum wouldn't need to ask the developer to add new data like texts and pictures every time something changes in their museum layouts.

The Configurator is a tool that allows the user to look around a metal rack and chose between the amount of floors and contents within them as well as color of the rack legs and support structure.
There's also the possibility to get information and take notes throughout the session as well as enter a cinematic mode that gives a panning 360 degree view around the rack.
This passion project had a little too much passion for the scale of a prototype.
Because of that it was easy to add a little to much on the "To-Do" list so a lot had to be cut out to save development time that would have been great additions if the time frame was larger to finish the prototype.

Having built hundreds of metal racks with all sorts of surrounding challenges that could make or break a project I think it's fair to say the passion for planning and creating stayed with me but also it's frustrations.
A common hindrance when working with many third parties and customers at once was not having the same resources for communication and planning. Even far up in the professional world we had had to rely on simple tools like "Windows Paint" to visualize a project map because all parties involved had resources that wasn't shareable between one another under their commercial contract.
Thus the great idea came forth, Why not make the necessary tool myself?
A tool not only be able to visualize an end goal but also provide the measurements, cost, design and the requirements.
